Fall Fishing Report

Hello from Kentucky lake! With the first days of October here, and November just around the corner, I thought I would take the time and write my last report of the year. Except for the very start of spring, fishing was pretty good this year. I am not saying that I didn’t have, what I consider less than stellar catches, on a few days. A couple of days were just downright tough. Flooding rain, temperature swings, and hard current made the start of the year humbling.

Once we got closer to summer, and got stable weather and water, the fishing got good and has stayed that way through fall. I’m not saying it was easy, but it has been good. I’ve spent a lot of time exploring new areas in search of fish for folks to catch. This is not always fun, but worth every minute when you see your customers catch fish. I don’t know of any other way to stay on top of fish movements besides staying on the water.

I work hard looking for fish to take my people back to. No one wants to go fishing and catch nothing. I don’t want that either. That being said, I will continue to be looking for and fishing for white and yellow bass, as I feel this gives me the best chances for multiple bites. I will continue to fish until I decide to chase something else.

I would like to say thank you to all the people who have fished with me this year and those that like and follow my page. I look forward to having y’all back again next year. Thank you so much for choosing my guide service.

I have to take the time to thank those who help this guide service go. Thank you to my beautiful wife Shareece aka “The Lucky Lady” for allowing me to live a dream. This guide service isn’t on the water without her sacrifices. I also want to thank Brad Culp and all the folks at Sportsmans Bait, Tackle, and Marine repair. This man and all of his employees have gone way above and beyond to keep me going. From a blown motor to all my other maintenance needs, these guys have done everything they can to keep me on the water. I can’t say thank you enough. I still got a few open dates before I quit fishing. Hit me up to get on the water.

Until next time, tight lines!!
